Well my plans to spend the day cleaning out my craftroom went out the window after a couple hours and off we went to our favorite little town of Sum
ner, WA. First stop was to Paper Muse where Cami (shop owner) oozes with creativity and is as sweet as can be. I always leave with projects I want to go home and try. I got a great banner kit for valentines day that I cant wait to work on tommorrow during the Seahawk football game! I'm so glad there is a woodworking store next door to keep my husband occuppied for a bit while I try to take it all in. Cami was working on her new store blog and since I'm a newby I couldn't help her much. Not sure where and how you all learned all your tricks but I hope to get there one day!

Next stop is my favorite antique shop, "Todays Country Store", where I walked in and recieved a big hug from Wendy who's such a kick, I love her. The shop looked great, there's so much eye-candy its a rush. They keep things fresh and updated, not like the musty antique shops where you find everything sitting in the same spot a year later. papermuse.blogspot.com

Today's Country Store (My Favorite Shop!)
They're having a girls night out with food & refreshments Thursday Jan 27th!
.....and below is Donna Ingill's new space within New England Saltbox. Donna travels several times a year back east to bring home wonderful primitives. Her booth looks wonderful now and it will be fun to see what else she brings in from her wonderful collection!
....and then the VanLierop Garden Shop which is always a treat even on a rainy day. (Me pictured with Izzy, my little stow-away pocket pooch who was an exceptionally good girl today.)
